According to the Indian Tea Board, the district of Darjeeling exports
about 10,000 tonnes of tea per year even though about 40,000 tonnes are
sold in Europe and Japan under the name of Darjeeling. To combat the blending
and mixing of Darjeeling with inferior teas the Indian state has introduced
a quality seal 
which
will only be granted to 100% Darjeeling tea.Our Tea is a 100% First Flush
(FTGFOP1) from the spring crop, grown on the
foothills of the Himalayas in the Darjeeling region. It is a very fine
tea which uses only the finest tips and buds of the spring leaves to ensure
